Anne is originally from Germany but her Bay Area roots run deep. Her mother’s family are descendants of the Bowen & Co., San Francisco and Oakland Merchants during the previous turn of the century - the main building at 250 Sutter, built just after the 1906 earthquake, still stands.
Anne holds a master’s degree in German Literature & Cultural Studies from the University of Bremen, Germany and worked in the field of journalism at a local Bay Area news station.
Anne and Josh enjoy spending time with their young daughter. They are cycling enthusiasts who appreciate the natural beauty of the Bay Area, both rural and city. Anne loves the abundance the East Bay offers and tries to get out to enjoy it as much as possible.
