About Eric Gavidia

Eric was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area to an immigrant family. He learned to be an entrepreneur from his grandmother who established and ran the family’s restaurant. Today, Eric is a father to two boys (his life's joy and greatest pride) attending local public schools. He is an East Bay homeowner who strongly believes in equal family access, judicial and legislative accountability and is a children's rights proponent and activist. 

Prior to joining the real estate industry, Eric ran his own business for nearly 15 years as a professional fundraiser for nonprofits serving elders, children, youth, and families. Today, he uses his personal and professional education and experience to help real estate working professionals achieve their most important dreams and goals. Or, as he likes to say, “Real coaching for your real life in real estate”™.

Eric loves that the East Bay area is 20 mins to 4 hours away from the very best that California has to offer. Eric says, "From world-renowned landmarks, sunset beaches, bay and ocean sailing cruises, to ancient redwood forests and Olympic snow sports, motosports, hiking and white water rafting, we really are blessed to have it all." 

Eric made the leap from operating his own relationship-based business to real estate. His experience, natural gifts and carefully honed skills for strategic planning and purposeful execution have helped Jodi grow her business from $18MM in volume in 2016 to over $103MM in volume in 2022--almost 600% in 6 years. 

Eric says “work life balance” is not about trying to balance two opposing forces, but instead about creating a symbiosis between them. He believes that learning this is the real key to success in business and life and that the results from which clients, colleagues, friends and family all benefit. 

Eric is a graduate of Stanford University with degrees in Political Science and Communication. He is fluent in English, Spanish and is conversational in Brazilian Portuguese. In his free time, he has a passion for racing motorcycles, dancing, reading, snowsports, camping, psychology, cooking, and music.
