Knowledgable, Enthusiastic, Curious
Eric Meyer grew up in Philadelphia and moved to the Bay Area in 1996. Eric immediately fell in love with the Bay Area’s wonderful climate, culture, and inclusiveness to name a few. He has been serving Berkeley, Oakland, and Albany along with other East Bay communities as an ASHI Certified Home Inspector and an ICC Certified California Residential Combo Inspector since 2015. He is up to date on the current codes and standard practices for homes to be compliant for each city he serves. His clients tout his knowledge, groundedness, and accessibility. He prides himself on being able to help people understand the complicated aspects of home condition assessment.
Eric’s first career after college was as an educator. He taught science in the classroom as well as outdoors at the Marin Headlands Institute. Eric’s teaching skills come in handy when helping clients learn about the complexities of a home’s many systems. After moving to the East Bay in 2004, Eric joined a large local construction company focusing on high-end remodels, where he learned the ins and outs of property improvement.
In his free time, Eric loves gardening, hiking, skiing, cycling, reading, and cooking. He is also a dad to two teens, two cats, and way too many plants!
